During my time in Sydney, I was fortunate enough to enjoy a week of Vivid Sydney 2019, which ran from May 24 to June 15! Vivid Sydney is an annual “festival of lights, music, and ideas” that literally lights up the Opera House, Bridge, and entirety of Sydney Harbor! The Royal Botanic Gardens receive special displays, and special sculptures, lit up by modern technology, line the path all around the harbor. In order to receive the best views of these festivities, there are many ferry companies that can take you around the harbor. Aside from the ferry ride, some include dinner, and others may be private boats–there is something for everyone!
