A small beach community tucked neatly into South Bay, Manhattan Beach is a rather tight-knit community that boasts upscale shops and restaurants, an extensive, identifiable pier, and, of course, a vast beach. Sometimes, I spend a night as an escape from the real world.
Downtown Manhattan Beach is where everything happens.
One can begin the day strolling down to the beach.
A slight walk can take you to Noah’s Bagels, my favorite bagel place in Manhattan Beach.
Tip: if you buy a Baker’s dozen (13 bagels) yet desire for one on the road, ask them to toast one!
A stroll down to Manhattan Ave can take you down to the pier for some stunning views.
For a snack, visit the Manhattan Beach Creamery or Becker’s Bakery & Deli. The Creamery boasts enormous ice cream cookie sandwiches and an array of other sugary treats for your sweet tooth. Becker’s offers delicious cakes, cupcakes, and buttercream cookies with all sorts of designs for any occasion!
For dinner, you can stop by The Kettle, an American restaurant opened 24/7. Their wholesome menu includes anything from chicken chowder to specialty salads to crab cakes!
Shop in very chic stores, such as Seafolly, Lorna Jane, and LF!
Finally, end the night with a walk down the pier for a gorgeous view of the California coast!
